Dr. DPS Verma, a TVET expert, having 44 years of vast experience, Project Director of World Class Skill Centre, a Rs. 978 Cr. Project set up in collaboration with ITE, Govt. of Singapore in the area of Vocational Education & Skill Development with Govt. of Delhi for enhancing the Skill Training standards and boost the employment in country and abroad intending to make Delhi a skill hub.
Dr. Verma had been CEO In-charge, NSDC in policy and planning operations in Instrumentation Automation Surveillance & Communication (IASC) Sector Skill Council (SSC).
Dr. Verma was also Sr. Consultant in SANKALP, The World Bank assisted project related to Vocational Education and Skill Development in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Government of India (MSDE, GOI). He also worked as Deputy Apprenticeship Advisor of Delhi and Principal in biggest Industrial Training Institute in Delhi.
Formerly, he served as Flight Engineer, Indian Air Force in Engineering (Aviation) branch for 21 years
Besides the Training in Defence, Dr. Verma has undergone Trainings at National and International level:
- Campus Designing &Development- ITEES, Singapore.
- Training of the Management Staff – ITEES, Singapore.
- Financial Management- National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM), Faridabad
- Management Development Program (MDP)- IIM, Ahmedabad
